Representatives from the Jena University of Applied Sciences visited HDL today to learn more about automation technology, and to foster a greater cultural exchange between Germany and China.
As part of the cross border cooperation between the cities of Jenna and Panyu, the visiting university representatives were able to visit HDL headquarters and tour our showroom, exhibition center, and production line.
During the groups visit the president of HDL Mr. Liu told the visitors that;
“HDL is proud to have been chosen to represent Panyu. We hope that today we can show you a little bit about who we are, and what we do. I would like to thank you all for coming here today, and I hope that we can work together in the future.”
The vice president of HDL Mr. Zeng then introduced the HDL product range to the visitors, and described how building automation can be used in the residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
After the tour and product introduction was over, the visitors had the opportunity to ask both Mr. Liu and Mr.Zeng questions. Among the many that were asked, the question that seemed to generate most interest was;
“When do you think most homes will have an automation system installed?”
To this, Mr Zeng responded that;
“It is a good question, but a difficult one to answer, for newly built homes I believe that within 15 years automation will be standard. For existing homes I think within 10 years home automation will be seen as something that is normal.”
Mr. Zeng then asked the audience;
“After what you have seen here today, would you choose to have an automation system installed into your home? Please raise your hands.”
To answer the question posed by Mr. Zeng, a sea of hands arose in unanimous unison.
HDL looks forward to further cooperation with the Jena University of Applied Sciences, and we eagerly await their next visit.
